  3. Hi Declan! I was just wondering now it's quite a number of years on since you built your house, how do you feel, you still happy? Would you do it all over again? We've been thinking about contacting Scandinavian Homes about our build in co. Meath!

    1. Hi there, I think I can speak for my family and say we are delighted with our Scandinavian Home. It is hard to believe its 8 years since we moved in but the home has met our expectations. If I were starting again I would do it again - no question. The house just works and the quality of the workmanship was second to none. I would recommend you visit the Scanhome show house in Moycullen. It costs nothing and you will immediately have a feeling as to whether or not the house is for you. If you have any questions I would be Happy to take a call. Lars @ Scanhome should be able to provided you with contact details for some other customers if needed. Go and speak to people. We did and it really helped. Best of luck, I was right where you were and I appreciate how challenging in can be. Declan

    2. Hi Declan,
Thanks so much for your reply, great to hear you'd do it all again, with no regrets! Definitely helpful to hear from someone who has gone before and done it all, helps us with our own decision! We'll be heading to Moycullen on the 23rd to look at the show house. So i'm very excited!!
      Thanks so much again!

  4. Hey Declan, thank a million for all the great information in your blogs. Just wondering whether you have any updates on the house since? Still as happy with the home as 12 years ago? We are highly considering this as a new build.

    1. Hi Jim, appreciated the feedback. I am 100% happy with our Scanhome. In fact with the energy price increases over the past few years we feel the decision was 100% the right one as we are savings huge amounts each year. In fact as soon as the clocks change I switch off all space heating and it wont be turne back on until the clocks change to winter time in October.

    1. Hi there, thanks for the feedback. As I mentioned to Jim above we have been super happy with our Scanhome. I do plan to provide an update on my experience with Solar PV which we installed about 1.5 years ago.
